The Finns know a thing or two about coffee given the vast quantities each of them buy/consume every year so maybe its no surprise they find some clever uses for it.
Check out this great blog piece about using coffee grounds as an exfoliator, its certainly natural - body shop watch out! We might give it a go later just in the interests of science/research, hopefully our shower copes with the aftermath!
If you want to try too, why not order some of our wonderful coffee and let us know if you look younger!

Any coffee drinker worth their espresso has a stove top at home, and we’re definitely part of that camp. However this pretty little number from the aerolatte folks might call into question our Bialetti loyalty.
A fine beauty this Aerolatte porcelain moka is, but can she make a good cup of the black gold? Anybody got one and care to share your thoughts?

So after a casual mention about creating latte art with our logo and then seeing people actually having a go we’ve decided we should run a photo contest. We’ll reward one lucky contestants with a £30 Amazon Voucher for the best photo/image of our lovely new logo in a clever setting.
Feel free to be as creative as you like. On top of a frothy cup of hot java is one thing but why not come up with something even more unique? We can’t think what that could be but if you get a snap of it projected on the side of the Houses of Parliament then you probably in with a good chance of scooping the prize.
To help you out you can download, print and cut out a stencil/template right here: www.eightpointnine.com/goodies/eightpointnine-logo-template.pdf
